Healthy Eating Habits

A healthy weight is a balance between whatever that is consumed and the energy that is burnt off. Limit the intake of bad fat, sugar and salt. Basically, to eat everything in moderate. Increase consumption of plant foods like fruits, vegetables and nuts. Get the essential micro nutrients from vitamins and minerals.

We are what we eat. From a physical and cultural perspective, sometimes a healthy diet is hard to achieve for people with poor eating habits due to tastes acquired during childhood and personal preferences. No doubt, we have to start to make the changes of healthy diet for our bodies to be able to stay strong as we get older. Without a good balanced healthy diet, no matter how many times a week we exercise, we might not be able to feel that much a difference.Â

I know of some people who are concern on their body fat percentage that it keeps increasing no matter no much cardio they do and some tried being a vegetarian. Well, there are also other things we have to consider, again coming to a balanced healthy meal. Depending on our body types, our blood types etc, there should be a proportionate intake of proteins, carbs and minerals. Besides that, our type of training also matters. If we just want to achieve a slim body, or a muscular toned body or just looking healthy, our exercises goes along with the type of diet we should get. Still in overall, the key is to eat moderately and pick healthy eating habit and food choices.
