We planned for our first long distance family road trip to Malaysia with our 14month old baby. And so we decided to travel to Melaka and Kuala Lumpur, driving all the way from Singapore last week.
Oh boy! It was really a challenge with an extra baggage in hand (yes she was really restless throughout the whole trip in the car). But aside from that hassle, we were glad that we had a good stay at Hotel Equatorial Melaka and the Luxury E&O Residences in KL.
I've shared before in my youtube channel and instagram why resistance bands, flex bands, therabands etc are just so travel-friendly. Because they are super lightweight and easy to bring along with you anywhere! And i brought with me my lightest resistance flex band. Lucky for me, i had a nice balcony with a view of the iconic Petronas Twin Tower. So i tied my flex band around the handbar of the balcony and did some arm workouts.
Front Rowing Modified with Flexband. I did 10x of 2 sets.
Leg Extension. 10x on each leg for 3 sets. You can do this on the bed or even on the sofa!
Mash up of Standing Bicep Curl, Leg Lifts & Teaser Modified with Flexband
Biceps - 20x of 2 sets
Leg Lifts - 10x of 3 sets with 30s of 45 deg legs in the air
Teaser Modified with Flexband- 4x
I managed to do these workouts in less than half an hour. Chop chop, get your exercises done and continue with our vacation! ;)
